I had an incredible stay at this stunning character cottage in a lovely village. the attention to detail in the house decor was amazing, making my room feel like it was straight out of a home magazine. Lisa and her husband were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. I couldn't have asked for better hosts. Can't wait to visit again!

Our stay at Chestnut Tree Cottage was simply delightful. The loft room, with its low ceilings and timbered coomb ceiling, exuded a cozy charm that we absolutely loved. The attention to detail in the beautiful decor was evident, and we felt like we were in a true idyll. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, John and Lisa, who made us feel like old friends. The private bathroom was immaculate, with plenty of luxurious extras provided. The freshly baked muffins and chocolate brownies were a lovely treat, adding to the overall experience. We also enjoyed the company of Bella and Oscar, their friendly dogs. The overall ambiance of the cottage was so inviting and peaceful, making our stay truly enjoyable. We highly recommend staying at Chestnut Tree Cottage for a relaxing and memorable experience.

We couldn't have asked for better value for our money at Chestnut Tree Cottage. The room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and yummy chocolate brownies. The location was perfect for exploring the lovely countryside, and John, Lisa, Bella, and Oscar made us feel like old friends with their warm hospitality.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from offering a wider variety of options.

The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of extras like dressing gowns and toiletries for a luxurious stay. Fresh flowers and yummy chocolate brownies added a lovely touch. Had a great time during Christmas at this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel like old friends. We loved the fresh flowers and the yummy little chocolate brownies that were waiting for us on arrival. The location was also great, with easy access to key attractions in the area. a fantastic stay!

One thing we didn't like was the lack of sufficient space in the bathroom. It felt cramped and there wasn't enough room for a proper shower.

The cottage is located in a beautiful village and the reception from the hosts is warm and friendly. The attic room is beautifully decorated and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a private bathroom. There are additional amenities such as dressing gowns and blankets for a luxurious stay. The attention to detail is fantastic, with delicious brownies provided as a treat.

The nearby facilities, such as the village pub and cafe, may be a bit disappointing in terms of food options and service.
